Hello there, nice to meet you!
My name is Janneke, 29, originally from the Netherlands but I am living in the beautiful city of Sevilla, Spain.
I am an all-round creative mind with a love for singing Jazz, painting, dancing in the living room, reading, being busy with being alone in my own mind, pastries and colourful dresses.
I am a creative entrepreneur and a freelance bike tour guide in Sevilla.
Backgrownd
Growing up as the youngest of 3 in a loving family in the Netherlands. With creativity, humour and respect for everybody I was encouraged to discover what made me happy.
As a kid I was already sensitive to other people’s emotions. Although I was raised in a very loving, warm and open family it was not always easy feeling so much, too much sometimes. Through walking my path and growing older, I wanted that what felt as a burden, to be turned in a quality, in a power.
...
From my teenage years on I had to deal with severe insomnia due to a delayed sleep phase syndrome, chronic fatigue syndrome, PCOS and later on severe depression for a multitude of years. During this time, I saw many different people from the health care system, but I never felt truly heard. Heard and understood in who I was and what I was going through.
I dropped out of high school, burned out at the age of 16 and trying to fit in a system that didn’t knew what to do with me. I slumped into a deep depression that would last for years.
The Vision
Via numerous ways I tried to forge my own path, learning about energies, meditation, self-love and an understanding that the life we live is so much bigger. Intertwining with something that we can’t always comprehend, but is always there. Sparked by the choice to pursue the studies of Energetic Therapy, I also came in contact with Women’s Circles. Feeling the healing powers of connecting with The Divine Feminine within me and how this shows up in my life.
Marking a whole new chapter in my life in 2022 at 27 years old when I moved to Spain, I build myself up from the ground. Learning a completely new language, making friends, finding my way and making a home in a different country.
