It is not uncommon for my paintings to have multiple layers, lots of texture and I have a fondness for stripes and the colour gold. I channel what I feel onto the canvas. Sadness, grief, anger, happiness, love, flow, you name it. Even though a painting is a visual concept, for me they always have a voice or a feeling. A story to tell through colours and movement.
